Study Playlist

With midterms coming up, I’ve found that this playlist I’ve complied to be a really great pick-me-up. I wouldn’t recommend trying to do readings while blasting them, but I love to play one or two of them for a short break in between readings. It’s a mix of low-key songs and the songs that you need to pull out your air guitar and jam along. Shamelessly, I will admit to having been looked at for jamming out in the silent floor at the library. For study sessions in the library, I love being plugged in to “White Noise” on YouTube, it’s great at blocking the little distracting noises of the people in the cubicles next to you and it’s great for concentration as well. With that said, here’s what I’ve been listening on repeat in January:

  • Seaside — The Kooks
  • Promise — Benjamin Howard
  • Devil’s Tears — Angus & Julia Stone
  • Greek Tragedy — The Wombats
  • Cardiac Arrest — Bad Suns
  • Cough Syrup — Young The Giant

  • Best Nights — Lydia
  • Heartbeats — Jose Gonzales
  • Digital Age — The Early November
  • Big Jet Plane — Angus & Julia Stone
  • Naive – The Kooks
  • Bones — Lewis Watson
  • U.N.I — Ed Sheeran
  • In My Veins — Andrew Belle
  • Video Games — Lana Del Rey
  • 18 — Anabor
